Gaming and e-sports have outgrown their niche existence and have long since arrived at the center of society. The global billion-dollar business has also been growing strongly in Austria for several years. Now Serviceplan will support the A1 eSports League in the area of partnerships and sponsorships.
Since the founding of the A1 eSports League Austria in the fall of 2017, it has become the largest e-sports league in Austria. The annual final events are already fixed points in the domestic e-sports scene. In 2020, more than 15,000 e-sports players showed their skills in the A1 eSports League Austria. In over 256 hours of live broadcasting, the best players in the country were selected in the 5 disciplines - League of Legends, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Fortnite and Rocket League.
As part of the international Serviceplan Group, Now Serviceplan in the House of Communication in Vienna is part of the largest independent and partner-managed agency group in Europe and specializes in brand partnerships, collaborations and activations. Every day, Now Serviceplan deals with the question of what companies can do to make people engage more deeply with their brand.
Brand partnerships and collaborations are efficient marketing and communication tools to recharge brands, increase awareness, reach new target groups or create unique content. The topics of gaming and e-sports play a significant role in this and will become an indispensable part of many brands' communication mix.
"We are delighted to have Now Serviceplan as a partner who shares our passion for e-sports and gaming and who will work with us to open up the A1 eSports League Austria to new partners, develop it further and take it to a new level," said Marco Harfmann, Director Marketing Communications at A1 as operator of the A1 eSports League.
